Olmecs Heads in Nanciyaga

There are only 17 original Olmecs Heads in the world, and four are in Mexico. The other heads are on private collections in other countries. In the ecologic reserve in Nanciyaga, Veracruz, we can find one of these original heads. They represent actual people from the Olmec civilization; they were great leaders, warriors, or important people during their time. The ornaments on the heads give some clues of their occupations or social role to them. One important aspect of these heads is that their faces belong to people with african heritage but in America long before Columbus’s journeys.DSC03384IMG_20160723_062903079

Who owns this land?

No Trespassing and Rabbit

People assume that they own the land. However, this is not always the truth. There are other creatures that could claim the same land that humans also claim as their dominion. People can create rules to enforce their claim, but those rules aren’t applicable against mother nature, never. Who really own’s the land? All creatures living in this planet are the actual owners.
